The Mixcraft 4 software is ok for its price point. When starting in on the software, anyone can see that it is designed simply, and starting out it is easy to use. But I would sometimes find myself annoyed by the software’s drive to be too easy. For example, you have to be very deliberate about scrolling and clicking, as you could wind up looking at a 200x zoom in to your sound bite 5 tracks away from where you wanted. The system that they used for plug ins was good, but i wish it had been a little more thought out, and placed better. Mixing on this software is not comprehensive at all. It leaves a lot to be longed for, especially if you are trying to do precision mixing where you need a little bit more control. Overall, this product is a good buy if you are on a really low budget and don't mind losing functionality.
