Mixcraft
Mixcraft is a fun and easy way to combine your own sounds to create musical projects, whether using clips from the library or recording your own effects. The easy drag and drop layers allow you to add and adjust your sounds, then play back to review your project. This is an easy way to record your own podcasts, then add to the web in a useful file format.
Audio Converter Pro
The Acoustica Audio Converter is a simple, but handy program for converting sound files to different formats. I get a variety of sound files, but many won’t work on the web. This will be an easy way to get the files to a format that is useful for our Music Department. I really like the easy way you can click on a file, then select the format you want to convert to, without having to open a program or download a file.
MP3 Audio Mixer
The Audio Mixer seems to work a lot like Mixcraft. It is also an easy drag and drop screen where you can add your own sounds or recordings to layers, playback, then record a combination of music, or make your own CD’s.
CD/DVD Label Maker
The Acoustica CD/DVD Label Maker is a fun and easy program for creating professional looking labels for your recording projects. I love the “I need to make a label but I’m in a big hurry” Wizard. It makes adding backgrounds, themes, images and text very simple, yet professional looking. It is sometimes difficult to get text lined up on a round template, but this program makes it easy. It also includes lots of background images, easily adds text, or gives you the option of adding your own custom images.
Photos Forever
Photos Forever is an easy way to copy and archive files to a CD. It is easy to navigate and select which files you want to copy. It also tells you how many CD’s you’ll need in the process and allows you to rename files, if you like. This is great for preserving vacation photos, or lifetime event photos, and sharing with friends and family, especially when combined with the CD Label Maker program.
Overall, this bundle of software has just about everything you need to create your own music CD’s, archive files, and make your own labels or jewel case inserts. It is easy to download, easy to use, and works great.
