  • Why is a hairy man of the forest so concerned with the financial well-being of college students when it comes to their software purchases?

    • - Your college debt is going to affect my lifestyle in the coming years. I mean if you do not have the money for shelter, you are going to be living in a van down by the river, and that’s MY river dude. So back off, get through college without all of the extra debt, and you and me will be cool. Also, if you have kids later on… don’t bring them camping and let them throw things at me.

  • Does Softsquatch approve of the actions of his cousin, King Kong? Would he have picked a prettier lady?

    - You see, I am a man of the forest. I do not need to worry about big buildings, cars or trains getting in my way. If you caged me like you did to my cousin King Kong, I would have to think I would do more than just steal the cute lady nearest me and climb up a building. We don’t like to say it, but Uncle Kong’s side are just about as smart as a box of rocks.

  • Why does Softquatch only wear a tshirt and no pants? What does Softsquatch do with all the underwear he steals?

    • - You would if you could.

  • What does Softsquatch think about Greenman's dance moves?

    - They Suck

  • Does Softsquatch feel any pity for the relative lack of fame that his cousin Hardsquatch has enjoyed?

    • - Hardsquatch (the computer hardware loving Sasquatch) doesn’t work as hard as I do, I do not feel bad for him, besides, he just doesn’t have the friendly and magnetic demeanor that I have.

  • Should Softsquatch appear on the new reality show "My Strange Addiction" for stealing underwear?

    - I will think about if confronted by the producers, but I am working with specialist to curb my addition. I have limited it to ONLY people who do not have a Softsquatch.com tshirt

  • Does Softsquatch like woodchucks and other woodland creatures?

    - Very much so, in fact, I am a card carrying member of the Bigfoot, Woodland Creatures and Woodchuck preservation society. We are working to lobby for more Woodland Creature National Holidays since all we have now is Groundhog Day and Phil is getting kind of old to be representing our more up and coming culture.

  • Why should I write for Softsquatch.com?

    - Because we all have an opinion, and you might think yours is better than others
    - Because we like to give out free software, hardware, accessories and tshirts
    - Because you want to?

  • What is the difference between a General Writer and a Reviewer? (Clarification here would help a lot so people can make better choices)

    - Writers just write us articles, their own opinions, thoughts and ideas or thoughts and ideas we feed to them. If you have ANY interest in writing, this is a great way to get your name out there quickly.

    - Reviewers write us reviews, we have A LOT of applications for this and we do our best to work with as many people as we can, but we cannot promise you will be asked to do a review or more than one review. If we like you, we keep asking for more…

  • I'm confused about the 9 product categories. Can you tell me what they mean?

    - It might just be easier to give you an idea of what kind of software is in each category. This is not a promise that you would receive that kind of software specifically if you ask to be a reviewer, but it will allow you to wish you could get that $4000 software you have been eyeing for free… If you still do not recognize the software listed, you probably wouldn’t want to select that category. If you do not see ANY that you know… maybe you should stick to watching our videos

  • I have an idea/complaint/suggestion/urgent matter to discuss with the admins. How do I get a hold of them?

    • - Hit us up on Twitter or Facebook, or try clicking on the “talk to me” at the top of the page, or write us a letter and send it into the forest with a carrier pigeon or your house cat, we will get it.

  • What happens if I submit my blog review after the ten (10) day deadline?

    • - You don’t, it’s that simple. We sent you software for free, the least you can do is send us our review on time… if we do not get it, we usually sell your information to Hormel Foods so they can send you some SPAM

  • What happens if I forget/don't want to submit my blog review?

    - Similar to the above question, you don’t.

  • Will I have to include a disclosure notice with every review that I submit?

    • - Absolutely not, anything you email to us we can post and we will not require you to send us a signed consent at anytime. Please see our page on this here http://www.softsquatch.com/disclosure-notice

  • I don't feel like/can't continue writing for Softsquatch.com anymore.  How do I leave?

    - Just let us know, because you are not “paid” you can write for us as much and as often as you want (we may not post some of what you write if it gets to be a daily submission thing or one of those blogs where people just complain about the world). If you want ideas for articles, we would be happy to send those to you, if you have your own ideas, send them to us. 

  • I understand that review writers are sent different items for review. Am I required to pay any shipping+handling charges for any items that you send me for review?

    - NO! We are going to send it by way of the intercontinental-yeti-delivery-service and that is free as long as I pay my monthly dues.
