Softsquatch is a little known sub-species of the elusive Bigfoot. While the typical Bigfoot is only found in remote forested areas, Softsquatch has been sighted on college campuses nationwide. Even with these sightings the cryptozoology community considers Softsquatch to be a combination of folklore, misidentification, and hoaxes, rather than a real creature.

He is usually described as a large, hairy, bipedal humanoid who loves modern technology. With the distinguishing characteristic of a 16"-20" footprint, sightings of "Softsquatch" were first reported on College Campuses in early 2008. It was said that he was seen running around local College Campuses kicking people who paid too much for software with his huge feet. Since then similar stories have emerged from College Campuses all around the country.

Many experts argue that current evidence is not enough to prove the existence of Softsquatch.
